Seventh graders at Klinger Middle School recently participated in an engaging STEM lab in Mrs. Wilson’s classes. Students discovered that teamwork and communication are essential to their group’s success.
The activity began with students able to use two hands and verbal communication. As the challenge progressed, the rules became more difficult: students were limited to using just one hand and communicating only nonverbally. Despite these challenges, students worked together, adapted, and successfully completed the activity.
Through hands-on learning and collaboration, students discovered that problem-solving, teamwork, and a little creativity can make science a lot of fun!

Early this week, students in Centennial School District's SPIRIT program soft-launched their own ShopRite! This exciting venture is a smaller-scale version of the supermarket, giving CSD employees the chance to stop in and purchase everyday items right on-site.
Thanks to the original connection made by the late Joseph Cowhey, SPIRIT students have had the opportunity to operate the ShopRite store at William Tennent High School before the regular bell schedule begins. Now, with SPIRIT at the Administration Building, our students can operate the store for longer shifts and more frequently throughout the day.
Students are gaining valuable real-world experience while serving Administration Building staff, SPIRIT staff, students, and visitors attending professional development and training. Each shift gives students opportunities to practice customer service, communication, teamwork, responsibility, and other important workplace skills.
We're so proud of our SPIRIT students for their hard work in bringing this soft launch to life. Congratulations on this exciting milestone, and we can't wait to see the program continue to grow!
Thank you to everyone who came out to Altitude Trampoline Park this evening to support our PBIS fundraiser. The kids had a great time!
🍦🎉 Klinger Middle School's sixth graders kicked off the school year in high spirits with an unforgettable ice cream social, generously hosted by our HSA! Students got creative at the sundae bar, piling their bowls high with delicious flavors and every topping imaginable, all while catching up and sharing laughs with friends. The fun continued with an epic game of Simon Says and plenty of outdoor games in the beautiful sunshine. What a perfect way to kick off an incredible year ahead!
Thank you to all the families who came out this week for Back to School Nights across the Centennial School District! From our elementary schools to our middle and high schools, turnout was wonderful, and it was great to see so many parents and guardians connecting with teachers and getting a feel for the year ahead.
Families visited classrooms, met their child's teacher, and learned about daily routines, curriculum plans, and ways to stay involved throughout the year. Thank you to everyone who came out to kick off the year with us!
