PIAA requires students participating in fall, winter, and spring sports co-curriculars have a physical dated after June 1, 2020. Unfortunately, the District has not received any responses to its Request for Proposals from physicians. While we are working to have a physician in place to provide these physicals to our students, we want to make you aware that the District is unable to provide physicals at this time. However, PIAA does require every student to have a physical prior to the beginning of the sports' season.
We are providing you with a copy of the PIAA Physical Form that can be completed by your child's physician. We encourage you to get your child's physical in the event that the District is not successful in contracting with a physician. We know that many families rely on this service from the school district, and we are working diligently to continue this service. If your child does not have a PIAA physical signed by a physician by the beginning of his/her sports' season, he/she will not be eligible to participate in the sport. This includes any pre-season and in-season practices.
IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE:
Before attending each tryout, practice, and game, all students must:
-
Bring his/her own equipment and water (Bring more than you think you need; there will be no sharing of water bottles).
-
Complete the electronic Daily Health Check form with their parents by 12:00 on the day of practice.
-
Be prepared for a screening to enter the practice fields (there will be a verbal check on medical conditions and a temperature check).
